Billy Hanks - Fire Chief and. Christiansburg Fire is an all volunteer department proudly serving the Town of Christiansburg and parts of Montgomery County Virginia since 1911. For over 100 years we have provided fire protection and prevention to our citizens, covering over 88 square miles including 82. 5 lane miles of interstate 81. The department has 39 active members and average over 800 calls per year.

PanJammers performs at Warm Hearth Village in Blacksburg, Virginia. PanJammers is an award-winning steel drum orchestra based in Blacksburg, Virginia. The group is comprised of a variety of players, ranging from teens to adults. In 2005, a beginner band, Island Pan, formed and the summer workshop expanded to weekly practices throughout the summer.
